Sandra Mariano

Sandra MarianoPhD degree and Associate Professor at the faculty of Business and Administration of the Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF) since 2002. Her main interest is in Entrepreneurship and Management. She has conceptualized and implemented the Course of Entrepreneurship and Innovation at UFF, offered on the distance learning mode, of which the objective is to provide entrepreneurial education for undergraduate students. She also coordinates the Graduate Program in Management and Entrepreneurship, PPGE/UFF, an MBA program in Management for headteachers of public schools in the state of Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo. Sandra Mariano wrote books and research papers published in Journal conference proceedings and is a speaker at scientific conferences.

Andreia Inamorato dos Santos

Andreia Inamorato dos SantosDr Andreia Inamorato dos Santos  is an international consultant in education and technology-enhanced learning, and a researcher in open educational resources and practices. She has worked at the Open University of the United Kingdom as a Research Fellow for OER projects such as OpenLearn and OLnet from 2006-2011. She has research papers and book chapters in education and particularly in OER, to include a national report about Brazil published by UNESCO IITE http://iite.unesco.org/publications/3214695/, and is a member of the OportUnidad steering committee.   Andreia holds a PhD from the Open University of the United Kingdom. Her thesis in the field of Educational Technology was focused on the discourses of teaching and learning online. She holds a Master's degree in Research Methods for Educational Technology from the same university. Earlier she obtained a Master's degree in Languages at the University of Sao Paulo (USP) and a Bachelor's degree in Languages and Literature. Celso Costa

Celso CostaProdessor Emeritus from Universidade Federal Fluminense. Has a Master and Ph.D degrees in Mathematics from Instituto Nacional de Matemática Pura e Aplicada - IMPA. He was visiting Professor at the Université de Chambery, France (1987-1988) and the Université de Grenoble - France (1988-1990). Costa is a member of the Brazilian Academy of Sciences (Academia Brasileira de Ciências). He also received a Commander’s award in the National Order of Scientific Merit by the Ministry of Science and Technology. In 1982, he discovered an embedded minimal surface, which was named Costa’s Surface. It solved a 206 year-old open problem in the field. Costa is also highly committed to distance education programmes, having served as vice-president of the CEDERJ Consortium (UFF, UFRJ, UNIRIO, UERJ, UFRRJ and UENF) from 2000 to 2006. He coordinated the Distance Education Bachelor of Mathematics Degree at UFF - Universidade Federal Fluminense. He served as the evaluation committee’s rapporteur on the first bidding for the implementation of the Open University of Brazil (UAB) and has held the position of General Coordinator of the Open University of Brazil and since February 2008, the position of Director of Distance Education at CAPES (Coordination of Improvement of Higher Education Personnel). He is currently the Director of the Institute of Mathematics and Statistics at UFF and the coordinator at UAB/UFF.

Isabella C. Sacramento

Isabella SacramentoIsabella Sacramento has a PhD degree in International Business and a Master degree in Business and Administration COPPEAD / UFRJ, with extension in Communications from the Ecole Supérieure de Rouen (France) and the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (Mexico). She gave lessons at the Executive MBA of IBMEC and COPPEAD / UFRJ. Adjunct Professor of Communication and Quality in Postgraduate Program in Management and Entrepreneurship at the Universidade Federal Fluminense. Lecturer in congresses organized by BALAS - Business Association for Latin American Studies and the GBA - Global Business Association. Professional experience in marketing in multinational companies in the field of computing and the area of fuels and as an instructor in Communication and Negotiation in business companies.

Rafael Cuba Mancebo

Rafael Cuba ManceboRafael Cuba Mancebo is an undergraduate student at the faculty of Business and Administration of the Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF). He is research assistant at the Graduate Program in Management and Entrepreneurship (PPGE/UFF) where is involved in a project of Planning models and socioeconomic dynamics at the communities that received Pacifying Police Units (UPP) in Rio de Janeiro. He is monitor of the project Literature Workshop and management: Debates about organizational culture, at the Universidade Federal Fluminense, UFF.

Valeria Castro

Valeria CastroManagement Consultant in Senac-SP and Sebrae-RJ, responsible for field research, elaboration and revision of case studies in the area of Entrepreneurship. Valeria has a Law degree and is doing a graduate course in Management in Distance Education (UFF). Research assistant at the Graduate Program in Management and Entrepreneurship, PPGE/UFF, and is involved in researches in the educational and management area.
